What has 6.4 Tian Nan Men Square has got to do with me ? Well, that marks the day I arrived in Beijing. Yes, I arrive in Beijing on 4Th June 2009, and slept a a few hours in Peking International Youth Hostel. I was given a very small room about the size of 8 feet x 4 feet, sharing a room with a young western lady who sleeps with her pantie. She sleep on the upper bed with the air conditioned off. For I am not use to that type of environment, I opted to shift out since there is no other room available in this same hostel. So at 7 am in the morning, I was walking around looking for a hotel room. Lucky for me, I spotted one at a very strategic location which cost me RMB195.00 per night. More details later.
Below is a pic of my first meal in Beijing, comprises of Sheep's internal organ at RMB10.00 per bowl. I can't tolerate the smell, so I only sip to taste the soup and leave the rest untouched.
More photos on my Beijing walk coming soon !
