Walking Around The Hotel in Beijing..

As a first timer in a foreign land, I have to get familiar with my surrounding area first before I can get any further, or else I will not be able to find my way back to my hotel. Trying to remember the streets are very important as I am alone and has no one else to refer. As such I have to walk a few times around within the same area again and again. Well, I did spot a few attractions but because it's too early in the morning, around 8 am, the streets are not so busy.Dongcheng District is one of the district in Beijing where you find many old buildings around. In my own opinion, I would say it's the old Beijing.
After getting familiar with the surrounding around the hotel, I noted on the street where I intent to re-visit on a more suitable time. Some of the streets are best visit during night time especially Wangfujing street. After tired of walking around, I return to my hotel base and starts calling my contacts in Beijing to make appointments for the rest of the day.

Such pretty city streets, and wonderful photos! I'm glad you were out so early; the city looks so clean and spacious without the typical traffic and crowds.

Good luck on the rest of your trip!
