Guilin 桂林 which is in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of far Southern China sit on the west bank of the Li River. Its got it's name which means "forest of Osmanthus flowers", owing to the large number of Sweet fragrant Osmanthus trees located in the city during the ancient time. The city has been renowned for its unique scenery.
